One night, Puan Noraini was driving home after working late. After travelling for a few minutes, she noticed a tree across the road. It had probably been struck down by lightning. Puan Noraini could not drive on, so she parked the car by the side of the road. Then she got out and tried to move the tree, for it was not too big. She tried to drag it to one side, but she simply could not.
Suddenly a man appeared from behind her. She was startled.
"May I help you, Madam?" he asked. Puan Noraini was just about to accept his help when the man whipped out a knife and pointed it at her. He demanded for money. She was so shocked that she shouted, "Help! Help!".
The villagers in the distance heard her. They came running in her direction. They saw the robber and quickened their pace. When the robber saw the angry villagers, he took to his heels and disappeared into the rubber plantation nearby. However, the villagers continued to give chase. After a few minutes, they caught the robber.
Puan Noraini thanked the villagers and drove home safely..
